Sometimes you can’t find anyone that you know to play music with you, so you have to go through the process of finding people you don’t know. Most of the time, this is a complicated task, so I try to give some tips that could help you out, and make it not as awkward.

Find People You Like >

Finding people that you like is also very important, because you really don’t want to just have good players in your band, you also want people that you can go hang out with also. You’ll need to find that sometimes hard to find person who you get along with really well.

People That Like The Same Music >

Having people in your band that like the same music is also critical. It (normally) doesn’t work out having a drummer who likes metal, a guitarist who likes blues, a bassist who likes R&B, and a singer who likes techno. You need people who like the same music, so you can use that music as a basis for how you want your band to sound.
