What does coordinating clothes mean? Well some of the most famous bands that coordinate clothes are The Beatles with their collarless suits and haircuts, KISS with their crazy makeup and costumes, and Devo, with all of their crazy outfits that they wear. These bands have been easily recognizable because of these getups, no matter how small they are, they help people remember them.
What can I do to coordinate clothes?
Well coordinating clothes can be something as little as everyone wearing funny sunglasses, or everyone wearing bright red sneakers. Anything that coordinates something about your band that you all do. You can even go as far as doing something like every having mohawks, or everyone not wearing pants. This will give your band something to be remembered for.
Steps to Take:
- Find something you can all wear that you like
- Wear it to all your shows
- Build your band on this image of your matching thing, whatever it may be
Although this might not seem like a big deal, the point of wearing coordinating clothes of some sort, will give you the memorabilia your band needs. People will say: “remember that band will all their faces painted green?” or “that band with all those funny hats was awesome!”. It gives your band something to be remembered by, and will help you land a record contract.
