There are a lot of good covers out there, but there are some songs that basically everyone knows, especially people in their late thirties, or forties. For the most part, these people will be most of your audiences, so trying playing some songs that they know.

Why Cover A Song?

Now, you may not even know why you should cover a song, besides that it’s fun to play. Well learning a cover is a great way to force yourself to get up to par with playing some of the more complex parts, and will also teach you how some of your idols develop melodies, and use dynamics.

Picking A Good Cover

Now you may not like any of the covers that I suggested might be a good idea to play, and that’s fine. But when you’re picking a different cover, there are certain aspects you should take into consideration when picking a cover to do.
